Inspire, Create, Connect 

An exhibition of paintings and drawings in different styles by four Islington artists: Helen Fuggle, Jenni Gregory, Ann Kozlowski-Hunt and Margaret Thompson. 

Daily 10am–6pm (Sundays 11:30am)

Family Prom  

A free art workshop for children aged 3–11, led by Jenni Gregory. Join us in paper plate mask making and make your family and home in paper and clay – all materials provided. Free coffee and pastries from Pophams Bakery. Come any time and stay as long or as short you want.

The French Horn Connection​​​​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​​​​​Chamber music by the all-star trio of Yume Fujise (violin), Alexei Watkins (horn) and Yoon Chung (piano). Programme includes Mozart’s Horn Quintet K407 in E flat (arranged for horn trio by Ernst Naumann) and Brahms’ Horn Trio Op. 40.

re:invention

Award-winning group Apollo’s Cabinet showcase music from the Baroque period, deconstructing it and reassembling it with other works to create something new, contrasting Handel, Bach and Telemann with songwriters like Carole King and Paul Simon. Watch this exciting group in action here.

Simon Callaghan

This year’s Anthony Hill Memorial Concert features piano virtuoso Simon Callaghan with a programme of classics that includes Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight’ Sonata, Grieg’s Holberg Suite, Poulenc’s Les Soirées de Nazelles, Debussy’s Images and transcriptions of Roger and Hammerstein.

Family Prom  

Our second Family Prom is a music and craft workshop led by singer-songwriter Caroline Chan. Suitable for families with children of any age. Explore connections through making music and art together. Jazz at St James’

Rachmaninov Vespers

We are are delighted to welcome the internationally renowned Choir of King’s College London and their conductor Joseph Fort. They will combine Rachmaninov’s evocative setting of the Russian All-Night Vigil with contemporary pieces with a similar ethos and atmosphere.

The Last Night of our Proms
The rousing finale to our season features the return of the Haydn Chamber Orchestra conducted by George Jackson. Their programme includes Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture, Mozart’s Violin Concerto No 4 (soloist Emmanuel Bach) and Mozart’s Symphony No 39.
